One of our favorite things about real human hair is that it isn't all the same. Different origins - and even different donors from the same region - can have different strand thicknesses, textures, movement and density.

Not every origin behaves the same.

Just like the hair growing from our own heads, human hair can naturally be fine, silky, coarse, dense, straight, wavy, curly - or somewhere in between.

Some origins, including many Vietnamese, Filipino and Indonesian collections, may naturally have a smoother or silkier feel. Depending on the donor and texture, this can make the hair easier to detangle and somewhat lower maintenance.

Indian and Cambodian hair may have a naturally coarser or more textured feel, especially in raw collections.

That texture is part of what makes the hair beautiful. It can create gorgeous body, fullness, movement and a more natural-looking finish. But it can also mean the hair needs more consistent moisture, careful detangling and nighttime protection to help manage dryness,
frizz and tangling. And with raw hair, those natural characteristics may be even more noticeable because the hair has been kept closer to its naturally collected state rather than processed to create a perfectly uniform feel. That doesn't make one origin better than another.

Different hair simply has different needs.

The best choice for you isn't only about the look you want. It's also about how you like your hair to feel, how you plan to style it, and how much maintenance you're comfortable with.
